Boiling Springs Savings Bank Hires Daniel Chen as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer - June 3, 2019
Boiling Springs Savings Bank's Board of Directors is delighted to announce that Daniel Chen has joined the Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to lead the treasury, capital, and financial reporting and strategy.
Boiling Springs has appointed Daniel Chen to the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.
In this position, Mr. Chen will lead capital and financial strategy; manage the accounting, finance, planning and analysis function; and provide oversight for the treasury and investment team at the Bank.
Prior to joining Boiling Springs, Mr. Chen’s roles included serving as Treasurer at Cross River Bank as well as positions at Morgan Stanley, MetLife Investment Management and PwC, leading investment banking, portfolio management and audit teams.

Mr. Chen received his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and holds an MBA in Finance and Management from Columbia Business School. He is a board director of Catholic Guardian Services, a NYC-area nonprofit serving foster families and developmentally disabled individuals. A father of four, Mr. Chen resides in New Providence, NJ with his wife, Su.
